Carrie Marshall

Velvet vocals with southern soul

Carrie Marshall is an award-winning vocalist, pianist, and songwriter whose music blends the elegance of jazz phrasing with the soul of Southern storytelling. Known for her expressive, warm vocals and piano-driven melodies, Carrie creates an unforgettable sound that weaves together pop, soul, gospel, country, and Americana influences into a seamless, genre-bending tapestry.

Named Top Charlotte Vocalist and winner of multiple songwriting honors — including NC Songwriter Co-Op Songwriter of the Year, a Bronze Award for Best Cover (“Jolene”), and a Top 10 finalist in the UK Songwriter’s Competition — Carrie’s artistry has earned both critical acclaim and loyal fans. She has also been twice nominated for Best Musical Score for her moving instrumental compositions in the feature film Changeover, and her work as an actress includes roles in War Room and Changeover, with her portrayal of Kacy Davis earning her Best Supporting Actress at the Love International Film Festival in Hollywood.

Carrie’s journey is as inspiring as her music. In 2020, she faced two life-altering challenges — breast cancer and a traumatic brain injury — experiences that deepened her artistry and transformed her perspective. Through resilience, faith, and the healing power of music, she emerged with a renewed sense of purpose: to create performances that are more than entertainment, but moments of connection, hope, and joy.

Every show Carrie delivers is a heartfelt conversation with her audience — rich in storytelling, brimming with soul, and alive with the timeless magic of music. Her songs uplift, inspire, and remind us that even in life’s darkest moments, there is beauty to be found and light to be shared.
